After earning a BA in English with minor in Film Studies from Ohio State in 2003, Keith received an internship opportunity with Ohio State Video Department. It was also this time that Keith worked independently to develop different freelance relationships by working entry positions on music videos, wedding videos and courtroom depositions.

In 2006, Keith met Jared Greene. Keith and Jared developed their skills together working frequently at a local rental house. It was also there the beginnings of a partnership began to appear. Keith began to understand the business side of the production industry and how the business of a rental house operates.

In 2011, Keith and Jared started their own business, Central Grip & Lighting. After over a decade of operations including expansion into a 10,000 ft Studio space the business has exceeded projections and continues to grow.
